Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education. Teaching and research interests centre on early childhood education. Areas of special interest include curriculum, social justice and the use of technologies to support teaching and learning. Her current research focuses on partnerships between Indigenous communities and schools, in particular the transition to school, school engagement and retention of young Indigenous children. Libby is also interested in qualitative research and has published widely in the international research literature. In 2001 she was recipient of the Western Australian Institute of Education Early Career Award.
