Lecturer in Education. Research interests include sociological and philosophical
perspectives in education with particular interest and specialisation
in critical theory and popular culture, postmodern critiques of schooling,
social justice approaches to education and their relationships to social change. James works with
students in professional ethics and value theory in Education. He also
works in critical outcomes education in compulsory and tertiary sites. Currently he is investigating graduate attributes of universities that are connected to issues of social justice, civic responsibility and ethics.
