Note-taking
Lectures, workshops and tutorials are usually your first point of contact when learning at university. Good note-taking skills are a great way to actively absorb the great volume of information you’ll be expected to learn. Your notes will be an invaluable resource around assessment time.
You may come across the term "note-making" instead of "note-taking" in some of our recommended websites. Both of these terms have the same meaning for us at Murdoch University, but often the distinction is made to illustrate that making notes should be an active process rather than simply recording information.
