Reading at university
Reading academic texts makes up a good deal of your study time, so it is important to learn to read effectively. Effective reading involves selective reading (making sure you’re reading the right materials) and good note taking skills (keeping track of what you have read).
Having good strategies for reading academic texts will help to save time and energy, help you absorb information quickly and better prepare you to write essays and improve your performance in examinations.
